Frandsen's in Red

Jordan's aunt Terry made Ella this adorable little red dress. I love, love it because I'm of course, in love with red dresses, and it's so hard to find newborn dresses in anything but a shade of pastel. The only sad thing is she barely squeezed into it this week. So I don't know how much longer it will fit her, but we'll enjoy it while it lasts. Jordan and I always like to match for church, but this was our first time making it a family affair. Ella even stayed for all three hours of church! Yeah! Thanks again Terry. It's perfect.

Baby in a Bucket

Grandma Leslie made Ella this amazing blanket. It's so funky and bright and Ella and I adore it. So of course it became the perfect background for a little shoot. We did it on her 3-week birthday. To check out all the photos click HERE.

Welcoming Ella

It has been really exciting getting to know Ella and introducing her to our lives. Yesterday, we went on a tour of campus with my mom and took Ella to see where I go everyday. Ella came at the perfect time for her parents, as I was off of school for three weeks. Ella has now met both of her grandmothers too. This week, Grandma Leslie is out here with us, helping us out as I have gone back to school now. Grandma Carolyn came out just after Ella was born; she came home from the hospital with us. It is a blessing to have them around and have them share with us their experience and wisdom. We’ve had a lot of fun with them. Ella loves to be held by both of her grandmas. They’ve also brought out a lot of neat presents and have really spoiled Ella. Grandma Leslie made the ruffled blanket which made a great, colorful prop in another of Ella’s photoshoots. Her great-aunts have also sent out a lot of presents and she loves them too.

Ella’s personality is showing through a little more too. She liked her bath a lot last night, but didn’t like it the time before. She is getting better at letting us know what she wants (or at least Liz and I are getting better at recognizing what she needs). We are so happy that she is here with us. The three of us are also excited for Ella’s cousin, who is coming sometime soon. We can’t wait to meet her!

Forever Frandsen

Jordan suggested that we start a family blog. I loved the idea! We've got to keep Ella's long distance grandmas up to date. Of course they will still get to see her photo shoots on my photography blog, but we thought this would be a better, and more professional way, of keeping business and family separate. (Of course in my world they share the same nursery, but at least on this blog I don't have to worry about photoshopping every picture. And we can put up fun videos, and write accounts of our on goings, etc.) And so anyway, without further ado, we share with you our life, our love, our blog: Forever Frandsen.
