2 Months Today!

Ella had her two month checkup yesterday. She's now 11'10 and 23 in long. She didn't like her shots much, especially last night. She was screaming bloody murder until her daddy laid his hands on her head and gave her a blessing from her Heavenly Father. It was a very precious moment. She's all better today and loving life as you're about to see!

Playtime With Daddy

Ella just loves it when Daddy gets home from school. He's been teaching her how to spit out her tongue. They have such a party together sometimes...

Ella wore this dress to church last Sunday. Her Grandma Leslie made it before she was even married. It drew out many compliments!

Best Valentine's Day EVER

Ella's my cutest Valentine yet! And I just love her crooked little grin. Growing up, my mom would always leave a valentine surprise on our nightstand while we slept. It was my favorite thing to wake up to. I mentioned this to Jordan last year and he's since carried on the tradition. This is what I woke up to. He's so amazingly thoughtful, and he pays attention when I tell him these. Props to his mother! You raised one well. And props to my husband for just being the best Valentine ever...

He even remembered to get his new girl a couple presents. As you'll see, she's all decked out in Baby Yale gear. I love it. I always wanted my very own Yale Baby.

This is my new favorite book. Warning, if you read it, you won't be able to put it down. And you'll end up secretly wishing your husband was a vampire too.

My mom even remembered me all the way across the country!

Jordan not only got me Twlight, and my own new Yale sweater, but he updated the scrapbook/journal he made me for Christmas a few years ago. It has pictures of us from significant events with a notecard for each detailing what happened and his feelings about the event. He hasn't had much time to work on it, so he spent part of V-day writing it. And then it was time for the "second" round of presents he announced.

And finally, the sun began to set, so we tanked up our daughter and walked her over to her many babysitters. (There were five women watching her when we picked up, but more had come and gone throughout the evening. We never worry. She's got many adoring "aunts" out here).

This looked way better in person. The fridge didn't make for the best lighting. This was my sweet treat for my husband.

And here he is now, getting ready for his hot V-day date.

We enjoyed these all evening long. I'm usually too cheap to buy expensive chocolates for myself, but I totally justified it for Jordan. And he was kind enough to share. Love you babe. Thanks for the best Valentine's Day EVER!
